Mission

Extra Bases is a not-for-profit organization founded in 2001. Its mission is to help individuals and charitable groups in Puerto Rico and abroad who assist people in need, as long as requests fulfill the organizations criteria and funds are available.

The organization is founded on the principle of complementing the efforts carried out by other charitable entities and government agencies aimed at improving the quality of life of individuals.

We are a Puerto Rican organization committed to helping those in need through social and economic support.

Purpose

The purpose of this organization is to use economic resources and relationships we have established throughout the years with the banking, commerce and other sectors, to collect funds and use them to improve the quality of life of those in most need.

Our Plan

We draw a work plan based on a calendar of events and efforts, aimed at collecting funds through various activities throughout the year. These funds are safeguarded by the organization and donated to various institutions according to their needs.

Each petition will be evaluated individually and priority will be given to those who demonstrate greater need, based on the Organization's criteria. Once each case has been undertaken by the organization, they will be closely examined though follow-up procedures, if necessary. A report will detail all efforts and results. The Organization's goal is not only to fulfill requests from individuals and organizations, but to promote fast and effective results for both the receiving party and the organization itself.
